Features of the Guillotine System for Acoustic and Smoke Control Doors

This guillotine system, designed for all swinging, acoustic, and smoke-tight door systems, provides superior protection against air, sound, and water leaks.
Thanks to its high sealing performance, it completely closes the gaps at the bottom of the door, enhancing energy efficiency and preventing external factors from entering the interior.

Product Size Ranges

Standard production lengths are available in 330 mm, 430 mm, 630 mm, 830 mm, 1030 mm, 1230 mm, and 1330 mm.
Additionally, models ranging from 1430 mm to 1830 mm feature a double adjustable mechanism.
Each model can be shortened by up to approximately 200 mm (for example: the 330 mm model can be shortened to 70 mm, and the 430 mm model can be shortened to 130 mm).

Installation and Adjustment Features

Thanks to its concealed screw structure, it offers an aesthetic appearance and can be easily installed on the surface.
The plastic piston system can be precisely adjusted with a screwdriver.
The EPDM-based acoustic seal provides high performance in both sound insulation and smoke control.

The product is offered with mounting accessories compatible with all models, including hemispherical, framed, double-wing, and custom production door types.
It can be used for right and left-handed doors in accordance with DIN standards.

Technical Details and Performance

• Thanks to its patented special mechanism, the guillotine system descends gradually from the hinge direction and provides maximum sealing when the door is fully closed.
• IFT Rosenheim certified 39 dB sound insulation value (compliant with EN ISO 10140-1:2012 / 10140-2:2010 / 717-1:2013 standards).
• Smoke control certification: tested according to EN 1634-3 standard.
• The mechanism can be easily removed by the hinge even after installation.
• Successfully completed 200,000 opening-closing cycles.
• Has a maximum drop allowance of 15 mm.
